From exposure to similar projects, I have developed alternative flowsheets which I believe are improved and viable alternatives to the original technology. I believe they are all significantly different from the original technology to represent new intellectual property. The degree of verification required depends on the project. The NBC Mg process is owned by other people but I list it here because I believe it is a viable project that will make someone rich someday -- and I would like to be part of the development effort. No, I am not that smart, but I believe I am good at applying existing technology from other fields into new areas -- one of the benefits of having worked in many fields during my career.
